Scaly Green Fish

A friend asked me about a dream.

1) first night holding a large scaly green fish

2) second night an ingenious idea for catching large fish a large sum of money is mentioned in the dream.

But some people say that they dream about a fish just before they find out they're pregnant. Green and scaly...hm.

BE VERY Careful of doing dream intepretation. Unless you have a direct revealation from the Lord you are walking on dangerous grounds. Not all dreams are from the Lord or Satan some are just our own thoughts and fears. In the last days old men will dream not young men and women.

I asked about the teeth, there were many long thin pointed teeth. My friend says he likes the idea he's coming into a lot of money the best, but this one seems to hit the mark.

Also, though he didn't want to remember this part, although the first fish was scaly somehow it also seemed unclean.

The second one which was fished out of the depths using some special device was definately a "bottom feeder."

I edited my post but, wanted to say I thought your previous post (edited) was responsible. There are two sides to the issue of money. Money and or wealth can indeed be either a great blessing or a great curse. It is the path between these two which I believe to be the NARROW WAY. You can have wealth and not be in danger so long as you are not had by the wealth. But as millerrod points out if you do have great wealth their is inherent danger.

By the worlds standards most Americans are wealthy. So I suppose we ought to all be looking at our hearts. If you were asked to give up everything today for the sake of following Christ, would you, could you, do it? Could I? That is a valid question.

I like having wealth because it affords me freedom and empowers me. I can spend it on worthwhile endeavors or I can live sumptuously and ignore the plight of others like the rich man in the parable of Lazurus. Fortunately, I'm not given to excessive living. My idea of a good time is camping and hiking in the woods.

I suppose all this talk about fish has rubbed off on me. Last night I dreamed about catching a HUGE bass. Think I'll go fishing this w/e Lord willing.

The scripture is full of references to wealth as a blessing from God. Now I'm not suggesting the lack thereof means we are cursed. But I'd much rather have more wealth then less. I've never know a time in my life when my wealth wasn't a blessing to others.

If you are holden to wealth IN LOVE WITH POSSESSIONS YOU CAN'T LET GO OF. That's a serious problem. But having wealth is a blessing to a person who is generous. It is also a blessing to those in the circle of his/her influence.

I'm so blessed that I'm able to help people in need in my own family. I thank God EVERYDAY for this wonderful blessing. "Give and it shall be given unto you..." It is a blessing to be wealthy if you are of a generous nature or conversely willing to distribute and submit yourself to God's will. One thing is certain though, we came in naked and we go out naked. True treasure is in heaven. So put your treasure down here to good work! Enjoy and be generous with those things that God has blessed you with!

Large sums of money being given by the "fish" caught in the nets of the false way of name it and claim it - the spirit cannot be bought.

Ingenious because it plays on what men in their flesh want to hear, promises that cannot be delivered- they are using Gods name in the name of the allmighty dollar ....the fish want the physical promise not the spiritual ones in their pride of life which is why they are green .

Beware of false prophets , seek FIRST the kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you .

I'm not sure I see the corelation between the Leviathin and the fish.

I'm not a 'name it and claim it' proponent. I believe ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. And I belief that if we SEEK WE WILL FIND and KNOCK AND THE DOOR WILL BE OPENED. But to me this relates to KNOWING GOD AND FOLLOWING HIM rather then GETTING WHAT I WANT. The key in my way of thinking is PRAYING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL or ALIGNING OUR HEARTS MIND AND ACTIVITIES TO THE DIVINE WILL.

The greatest treasure one can know in this life is THE PEACE OF GOD who's KINGDOM IS RIGHTEOUSNESS PEACE AND JOY.

If you gave me a choice between the wealth of the world and the absolute assurance of God's presence, peace, empowerment and direction on a daily basis I'd choose the latter hands down.

NOTHING COMPARES TO BEING IN HIS PRESENCE WALKING IN HIS PEACE HEARING HIS VOICE WITHIN BEING GUIDED BY HIS SPIRIT to this we all (I hope) aspire.

Being a person who as a child enjoyed upper middle class living and then was thrown into poverty I can honestly say that over the years I have been blessed more by being poor than by being rich.

Why? Because as a poor person I know the joy of seeing God miraclously provide for me.. I have learned to lean on God for all things. I eagerly await Heaven because there I have treasures stored up for me. I have seen and done things thru God I never could have if I had still been wealthy.

You can brag about your wealth on earth and I will brag about my wealth in Heaven given to me by my Heavenly Father, His Son, my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit who the Father and Son sent to live in my heart.

The narrow way teaches if we seek God we will have an abundant life. It's putting God first in all things that brings difficulty, whether we are rich or poor. The poor face a different set of temptations then the rich. Regardless, both are tempted to do evil and both can easily justify the wrong done. The dilemma exists for both. Temptation visits us all regardless. Few americans know the meaning of poverty compared to people who live in the 'third world'.

Wealth is good if used for good. So is time which we all have, it is good if used for good. Be wise use your resources both time and money to do that which is good, and rich or poor you shall be building up wealth in heaven.

No one is bragging about wealth, I rejoice that I'm able to help those I know who are in need through the abundance God has given me. Is this bragging? I rejoice! Thank You Jesus! I saw one hungry I was able to give, I saw one thirsty, I was able to give, I saw one naked, I was able to give, PRAISE BE TO GOD! Is this bragging? If you have a dollar give a dime and PRAISE GOD FOR THE PRIVILEGE!

poverty like in being homeless and not having enough to eat you bet I know what it is like. I have slept under docks and even had to steal once to get something to eat but that was a long time ago. Even the american poor are richer than some in third world countries? Some are but not all. There are still american living in cardboard boxes, there are americans who can not buy enought food to eat. Did you know that if you are homeless and have children that you can lose your children because you can not care for them? Did you know that many of our elderly have to pay out of their noses for medicine and eat dog food because they can not afford to buy food. Did you know that all poor americans on any type of assitance has to help pay for their medicine despite having little money. If you really understood and visited all of america you would see what I am talking about. Like many who have it well off think well they get money and food why should they complain? But if your id is stolen and all your money is lost and you have nothing left you are not even considered to be a person in america because we are so paranoid about immigrants. In many states even the churches will not help if you do not have ID.

Jesus said blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Even Jesus had no place to call home. I tell you the truth that the poor person who gave a dime gave a thousand times more money than the rich one who only gave a dollar. If you truly love Jesus then sell all you have and go follow Him.

I get so angry about all this nonsence in america nowadays about some who think that because they are rich that they are somehow more blessed than the poor person.

You are not spouting off anything that I haven't heard from my parents when I was young. Well they crumbled under pressure when the going got tough because they had it easy all their life and when things got bad they could not handle it.

God however has allowed me go thru almost everything a person can go thru and I can honestly say that with Gods help their is nothing That I can not handle because He is my Helper, Guide, Father and King. Their is not very many people with problems that I can not relate to and give them the comfort I recieved from My Heavenly Father. I can give to others also without needing to doll out cash. And when I do have extra money I give as God encourages me to. Cling to what I have? I learned along time ago that things are not important. Bringing others to Christ and Standing up for the poor and suffering is what is important. I have lost all many times in my life and have had it returned to me. I know what job went thru and God used it to make me a better person because of it.
The rich are to rejoice in their POOR estate. The poor are to rejoice in their RICH estate.

Well I don't want to argue about who's had it the toughest. I'm not bragging about wealth or poverty. Walking in the Spirit is wealth beyond measure.

God is good. I'm glad, very glad that I can pay my sisters mortgage (her husband can't work Leukemia) I'm glad, very glad I can pay for the nurse that takes care of my Dad's med's, very glad!!!

I wish my brother in law did not have Leukemia, I wish my father did not have to be on a regiment of meds and in need of a nurse. But I praise God He's enabled me to help their distress. God is good!!!

God is good!!! Do good with what God gives you and He will return it unto you both in this life and in the life to come.

A warning to seek its use in a right way , not a wrong one and goes along with a verse that sherry already posted about telling people what they want to hear instead of using it for Gods Glory and to beware of others who use it for gain and not to get caught up in the same .

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. No problem, forgiven. I wasn't upset with you at all.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon, and, as I said I'm not rich by American standards. It's good to have and it's great to be able to give to those you love and care for. Just doing so makes me feel lighter somehow, like I'm connected to some mystical energy... I suppose that is God's way of telling me I'm doing something right.

Most of the wealthy people I know are greedy. There is definitely an inherent danger of that with having a lot of money. It is wonderful to be able to be wealthy and generous too. My father was like that. I admire those type of people greatly. (Guess I'll never find out which type I am )
