Saviour Machine

Who else is as big a Saviour Machine fan as I am? I think Eric Clayton is the most intellectual and talented guy since the early classical composers like Beethoven and Bach. The music never gets old and he always has new ideas and incredibly powerful symbolic visions. I can't wait until Legend III:II comes out, I hope he tours by Austin TX!

What's your favorite song or album? My fav album is tied between I and II. My fav song is probably "Saviour Machine II" or "A World Alone/Jesus Christ".

Hmm...I don't really have a favorite CD. Carnival Of Souls and Behold A Pale Horse are my favorite songs.

I hear they are good, especially their first album. Yeah it's pretty sad, I own alot of christian goth music and never heard of these guys play.

I have been a devoted fan since 1993. I have everything released by SM including the purple SMII and the original demo (SS). Around 30 live recordings from various different time periods. My all time favorite album is Legend II. I have yet to get tired of that CD. There is so much going on in it. When I first got it, I listened to it 8 hours a day for 3 months straight. Amazing stuff. I also can't wait for III:II to come out. I've heard that the first half is similar to LII and the second half is moving into its own sound. I saw SM in Elgin, IL years ago and don't know if anything will ever top that.

Thats so cool! I've got all their albums now, plus the two official live recordings, the SM I t-shirt and the DVD. I envy you so much, you got to see them live in the states! I hear they're going to do 2 world tours to finish off the band - one will be the ENTIRE Legend series tour, all 5 hours of music and the other will be fan favorites. I hope they atleast come by Austin for one of the tours!

You can't compare those two bands...but I agree on that Virgin Black is truly a class of its own also...musically, artistically, emotionally...
