It sounds like a fellow-Christian cringing with shame every time you post your ignorance, wishing you wouldn't in case agnostics and atheists actually thought I might think the same things because I also trust in the Lord. It sounds like someone lamenting that so many people like you post on forums like this. It's the sound of someone, frustrated with the shallowness of much of American Christianity, sadly begging you, without any hope, to reconsider your current course. You can call that childish if you wish, or you can think about why a fellow-Christian would single you out in a forum full of agnostics and atheists and ask YOU to consider changing your posting strategy.
