Satellite radio

What is going on with satellite radio these days? Is Sirius the only provider? Someone showed me his Sirius app and I was only able to see two Christian stations so I'm not sure that would add much to what I already have on Christian radio.

Sirius is not the only satellite provider. You have Pandora, (owned by Sirius), you also have iheart and tunein. All 3 have more christian music if you know how to search for it.

Thank you. What I am interested in looking for is alternatives to music instead of having to use a smartphone. I am praying about whether or not God wants me to be using a smartphone. I think you can get a physical table top radio from Sirius but think Pandora, iheart, and tunein are apps on a smartphone. I am wondering if Sirius also can provide a car radio and pocket radio?

They do but its very expensive on Amazon. Plus the pocket radio is not supported anymore. You can get just the siriusxm app for smartphone free for 4 months then its $4.99 per month. That is the cheapest per month radio service I have found.

To explain I am interested in considering what radio options are available if I decide not to use a smartphone because of temptation that results from using a smartphone. The app does sound convenient though.

If you do not use a smartphone...they have bluetooth speakers that you can stream from your computer to where ever. I just saw one that you install on the ceiling of your bathroom too. That would be your only other option or to get an amazon Alexa.
