Since there is no edit feature (advantages and disadvantages to not having edits), I must add that this is from the perspective of a traditional Baptist who is out of place in this forum.Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ - SAVED IMMEDIATELY / SANCTIFICATION PROMISED
This is the view that I see in scripture. The statement's perspective is from the point of view of completion.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ - SAVED IMMEDIATELY / SANCTIFICATION IMMEDIATELY.
My problem with this is it leaves out the process of conforming to the image of Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit referenced in Thessalonians.
But the bottom line is this: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" and the rest will follow, regardless of semantics.

The term is used by traditional Baptists to describe the process by which the Holy Spirit changes your outer being to match your new inner being after receiving Salvation and the Holy Spirit from Jesus. We are Justified and Redeemed by the Power of Jesus, but our flesh is weak.
Some things are transformed immediately and miraculously and some things come i time as the continued ministry of the Holy Spirit leads and reveals them to you.
I have come to the understanding that sanctification is acquired by the 'patiences of the saints', very slowly as part of the growing process. What is sanctification and how can we be sanctified?
