James 2:24 is merely making the point that Abraham's faith was vindicated, or in other words, proven to be true, through his works. Scripture is clear that Abraham was saved when he believed God (Romans 4:3). If a man is justified by works, he has the ability to glory, but not before God (Romans 4:2), because our righteousness' are nothing compared to God's standard (Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10, Isaiah 64:6).I appreciate the reply, but faith alone saves no one (Jas. 2:24)!

Amen! Which is His Grace working in us.If someone has true faith in God then they will be saved from their sins and into marvelous light. True faith has the power to bring about obedience.
Define "obedient faith" please. The Bible doesn't, so I would like you to; the Bible only ever talks about having faith or not, there is no distinction between so called "obedient faith" and "disobedient faith." To have faith at all is obedient... because you obey the gospel by believing it (Romans 6:17, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, Matthew 7:21, John 6:40).Hebrews 11 speaks of an obedient faith! (John 3:36)
