Mk 10:18, Ro 3:9, 19, 23, 5:12, 11:32, Gal 3:22.I just quoted scripture from what Jesus said and He said what a “good man” does. I found from the law in the Psalms that “the steps of the good man are ordered by the Lord” and that the “eyes of the Lord” keep “watch on the evil and the good”.
Taking Galatians 3:22 in the broader message of Galatians 3:21-29.The law was our tutor and the Jews had Moses & the prophets as Abraham affirmed in Luke 19:16-31 & most others had a natural law ( Romans 2:6-16) which many say is derived from Noah ( Genesis 9:1-17). I am thankful for justification by faith ( Galatians 3:24) being an heir according to promise ( Galatians 3:29).Mk 10:18, Ro 3:9, 19, 23, 5:12, 11:32, Gal 3:22.
Since God is the Father of all ...Matt. 23:9, good does come from His childrenNo one is good (Mk 10:18).
Everyone who loves knows God and is born of God. 1 John 4:7Only the born again have God as their Father.

There are multitudes of people who do not know or understand this just as there were during the law of Moses. We now all await a general resurrection and the Lord who tells me treat others as I would want to be treated & not judge ( Matthew 7:1-12) & to love God & neighbor ( Matthew 22:36-40).
It's not about good and evil, we are all by nature (with which we are born) objects of God's wrath ( Eph 2:3), no one is good (Mk 10:18),I can only know for sure of a general accountability of individuals based on what they know ( per Romans 1 & 2). St. Paul has to warn everyone of the same condemnations in Romans 3 but he carefully explained that individuals sway between good & evil in Romans 2 very similar to Ezekiel 18:1-32.
I think you missed the points of both the scriptures cited. But I'll try to help.So Jesus got it wrong in Mk 10:18: "No one is good."
Who are his children?I think you missed the points of both the scriptures cited. But I'll try to help.
IF God is good THEN so are His children
Anyone who loves who?Additionally IF God is love, THEN anyone who loves knows God and is born of God
So Jesus got it wrong in Mk 10:18: "No one
So is Jesus wrong when He says “the good man” in Matthew 12:35 & Luke 6:45? With God all things are possible ( Matthew 19:26).Then in John 3:16-21, verses 19, 20, & 21 are just moot points? Wouldn’t overlooking these verses & stopping at 18 be an incomplete understanding leading up to John 3:36? To understand your reasoning, there is no factor of good or evil so John 5:22-30 must also be moot. It's not about good and evil, we are all by nature (with which we are born) objects of God's wrath ( Eph 2:3), no one is good (Mk 10:18),
it is about belief and unbelief in Jesus Christ.
"Whoever does not believe in the Son stands condemned already." (Jn 3:18)
Matt. 23:9Who are his children?
Anyone who loves who?
Did he say there that any good men actually existed? So is Jesus wrong when He says “the good man” in Matthew 12:35 & Luke 6:45?
And with man they are impossible (Mt 19:26).With God all things are possible ( Matthew 19:26).
No, they are addressed to those in whom God is working. Then in John 3:16-21, verses 19, 20, & 21 are just moot points?
It is all moot to those to whom God does not give the power.Wouldn’t overlooking these verses & stopping at 18 be an incomplete understanding leading up to John 3:36? To understand your reasoning, there is no factor of good or evil so John 5:22-30 must also be moot.
Love rejoices with the truth (1 Co 13:6), and the truth is that not everyone loves God. . .or there would be no one in hell.Matt. 23:9
You can claim love isn't within people but that is not love on your part.
The scale of priority is that God loves us, not that we love GodLove rejoices with the truth (1 Co 13:6), and the truth is that not everyone loves God. . .or there would be no one in hell.
Does that love keep everyone out of hell? The scale of priority is that God loves us, not that we love God
1 John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Point is Jesus really is the savior of the worldDoes that love keep everyone out of hell?
Your point?
"World" there means all without distinction--Jew and Gentile.Point is Jesus really is the savior of the world
Never claimed everyone. The devil and his messengers are going to eternal hell."World" there means all without distinction--Jew and Gentile.
It does not mean all without exception--everyone, for that contradicts the rest of the NT.
Oh, absolutely not. But my question is more, if I have the slim chance to be saved thanks to opening my heart to the grace of God, it makes me feel sad that my family doesn’t even seem to get to have that chance; and so what can I do for them? Do they have any chance at all? (Though it seems like there is a lot of disagreement here on that)If you thinking you are saved because of something you have done like being baptized, etc.... Then you are still in the same boat as your family of unbelievers.
A LOT of disagreement, a lot of errors, a lot of deception, worldwide, everywhere.Oh, absolutely not. But my question is more, if I have the slim chance to be saved thanks to opening my heart to the grace of God, it makes me feel sad that my family doesn’t even seem to get to have that chance; and so what can I do for them? Do they have any chance at all? (Though it seems like there is a lot of disagreement here on that)
But it may be, certainly, as most people's love , if they ever had love, has grown cold, as God Says.Matt. 23:9
