You are truly brothers and sisters of Christ. In each post I see thanksgiving, uplifting and honoring. Even when different approaches/views are presented, I see nothing but brotherly/sisterly sharing and admonition. I am refraining from adding amen to evey post in order not to clutter the threads.

Deeper Fellowship was not always like this. We seemed to emphasize differences than the common Lordship of Jesus. Now, in the name of Jesus, we have joy lifting one another. Some posts are replied more often than others but all are replied with silent amen by the saints of Deeper Fellowship. (Mine is the least replied of all but I hear amen in my spirit.)

Following the lead of CABL and CupBearer, I am fasting today. Since yesterday was my regular fasting day, this is my second day of fasting. I am not very good at fasting: I am hungry for food but my soul is satisfied beyond measure. I never imagined that a gathering of believers on internet would be this good. Though we do not sing a song together, or lift a praise in one voice, the Lord approves our hearts. I ask Lord Jesus to fill the heart of every saint of Deeper Fellowship with peace and grace.

HotMetal,
Please continue to post the messages you receive from the Lord. They convict me deeply.

dear HotMetal,
It also is spiritually comforting for a response such as yours. My friend.
In these times you will see an increase of those who truely belong to Him begin to pour out their spirits for Him.God never has needed help in either defending His word,or explaining His perfection to His creation.. Once a child of His overcomes their own selfishness, learn of their Gods "Agape" love, then they can be taught with less opposition to their own flesh, and can begin to see spiritually,His good works are well on their way in us. Keep on fasting for it isn't always that we deny the self within us,to strengthen ones spirit,it is also the freeing of our Jesus within us to comfort us in the change from mortal to becoming spirit beings.
In His love, lampwicke xxx

P.S. you might look into "foot washing".(John 13)

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Brother, I have spent some time reflecting on your post, and I am moved by its humility. As you have written, many would become my teacher, but few would come to my level and be my friend.

But this is my lesson. It is always my lesson.

If I only briefly fathomed the power of the Gospel, for only the briefest moment with the smallest glimpse, what difference in opinion could separate me from our Lord's love?

I now say I am a Christian with confidence and authority because I finally understand that the Gospel is greater than I am. I cannot contain it, it is not my message; I can only hope to be found in it. If this is true, and I have faith that this is truth, then do I not trust that all differences will disappear in the Lord's love? If I know the Truth, then don't I also know that the Truth will be revealed as it chooses and not as I choose?

where there is knowledge, it will pass away....For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

Every single one of my words will mean nothing before the Awesome Glory of the Lord when we are in His full presence. All of my knowledge will cease, but His love will endure. This isn't my lesson, but I must deliver it if I am what I say I am. Our Lord commanded it:

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

If I am who I say I am, then I will be marked by my love for my brothers and sisters through all adversity and differences.

Saints, your encouragement is a priceless jewel that keeps me through all trials of this world. I praise the Lord Jesus for raising up an army for His glory.
