i just heard how sad! he was crazy, but he loved what he did. he was fun to watch on tv. he will be missed on the animal planet. prayers go out to his family, friends, and avid fans.

Even more sad because of his enthusiasm for the whales and seals being slughtered and he only just began the fight. We are very sad in Utah.

I was shocked to hear this. I was sure he would be killed by the crocs or snakes he handled and not by a stingray. My prayers go out to his family and friends and to his many devoted fans. He will be missed.

I've watched his show for years and he was one of my biggest heros. I cried all night last night. He will most certainly be missed.

Yes, I too cried about this loss. I and my grandmother really loved watching the shows. And him showing how to calm down a crocodile helped me with my dog! Long story, ^.^ but she acts a LOT like a croc and it actually worked!

Yeah, I never knew how much I liked him until I heard of his death. I always liked him because, well, what is there NOT to like about him?! May he rest in peace.

I learned a lot about snakes and crocs because of Steve.

Watching his show inspired me to work with animals and because of him I am training to be a marine biologist to educate people about the endangered spieces of the seas. Rest in Peace Steve.

Yes, the hearing of Steve Irwin's death is surley a surprise to all. May his wife, children and other family and friends be kept in both our thoughts and prayers.

This just goes to show everyone that, you never know when life may end, or how. You never know if tomorrow is to come. Please everyone, keep this in mind.
