Sabbath Question

I would like to know what you think about law enforcement or national security or health care workers (doctors, nurses ect.) working on the Sabbath days (and do the SDAs have an official doctrine on this?)

As for official, I am not sure of anything voted at the GC which would make it official. But some others might know.

We have a number of health care facilities and doctors and nurses and critical staff do in fact work on Sabbath.

As to law enforcement I have not seen anything official either.

Here is a set of guidelines from the Adventist.org website. It is not listed as official, but I am sure at least some Adventists would concur with it. The bottom part tells about the history of the document. Apparntly the Executive Committe Reviewed it , etc.
