Yes, I'm a farmer. No, I'm not worried about this. This sort of thing comes up every couple of years. It doesn't mean anything.

Besides, there's no way they could enforce it.

But I'm sure Jack Spirko will address it. He usually researches these things out pretty well, so I'll reserve judgement until I hear what he has to say.

I was going to say that if you really wanted people's opinions on this, you should include a summary of what it is - many of us can't view videos, but I don't think you're interested in the actual bill, just this crackpot reaction to a moot bill. It's a food safety bill that has nothing to do with growing your own food for your own consumption. It's old and according to govtrack.us : "See the Related Legislation page for other bills related to this one and a list of subject terms that have been applied to this bill. Sometimes the text of one bill or resolution is incorporated into another, and in those cases the original bill or resolution, as it would appear here, would seem to be abandoned."

And, what's worse, this has nothing to do with Muslims taking over America or how awful liberals are.

I looked through the actual text of the bill...and I didn't see anything about home-grown food.

Many members recently on Youtube seem to think that they will not be allowed to grow home-grown food, so I was curious on what you all thot about it.

I did a search on this yesterday and found a decent writeup. It said the bill is still in commitee. It seems to be just another nanny state bill. It does not prohibit growing your own food, but may make it illegal to give away or trade home grown food. But that is always a problem with over regulation, trying to treat things that are not businesses like businesses and/or sloppy bill writing.
