  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is he a Christian?

because if he won't change, if he isn't on fire for God, the relationship will be unbalanced.

I had sex outside of marriage but Jesus blood covers my sins, the bible says that love covers a multitude of sins...my previous relationships were sinful, God in His mercy has forgiven me and no longer hold me accountable or bound to someone who is living in sin.

If it wasn't for my repentencce and much more for Gods forgivness I would still be a slave to sin and bound to one or all of my previous sexual partners.

God can heal and forgive past relationships... but you joining in a relationship with a bad view of marriage probably isnt wise...

Maybe see if he is willing to change his views.

Peace...

PS: don't move in with him...sex is just forgeting to stop kissing...(if you know what I mean) its easy to lose control... and regret what happens afterwards...

We will certainly pray for you!

I'm a little concerned though. You spend the entire past listing worries about the future and than ended with a question about his past. Are you perhaps worrying about his past, to keep from thinking about your future?

I have to ask, but what if he never becomes a Christian? Aren't you worried about being "one eternally" who does not share you values (respecting and sharing are not the same thing) and does not worship your God?

I know that once you have given your heart to someone you don't want to think that they are not the one you are going to be with forever. There isn't a woman alive who didn't want to marry the first man they loved. It's wonderful to be cherished and if you give it up, you worry that it may never come along again. Believe me, if you give your heart to God, He will find someone worthy of it.

God Bless,

GRACE
