What a sorry, sad world we live in!But praaise God for His mercy and grace to us!
God knows and hears our frustrations... Have peace in the knowledge that God will cast judgment in His time.Couldn't God do better than that by simply removing them from this planet and leaving his people intact?
He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah Psalm 66:7Bevlina said:Forgive my ignorance, but I cannot see where God was in control of this situation. More likely satan.
Now, we pray for the mess to be cleaned up and the broken hearts to heal. The bewilderment and anger to cease. And, for those who survived...to not be scarred for life.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23crashedman said:
Hi,
I think that we should take some time out to pray for the people who lost their lives and were wounded during the recent school seige in Russia.
I saw a couple of photos of it on a public newsgroup, and think it is absolutely horrific. What sort of animals does God allow to curse this earth by treating children this way?

Exactly LW.:crosself:LivingWorship said:So hard to see where God isin all this but He's the one left standing at the end of the day... and I do believe that precious children who have no comprehension of sin and are yet to reach the age of innocence, go to be with God, small comfort here on earth for the survivors but this is the hope we all have as God's children, and seeing as the Lord is "rich in mercy" according to the Bible, I am sure that He, the judge of all the earth will do RIGHT. As a Russian (yeah I live here, was born here but I am half-Russian origin) I am shocked to see what my fellow Russians are doing to each other... makes no sense to me, but last night at Crossfire we prayed over the situation and we sensed in faith that some good, some hope must spread from the ashes, like how grass splits the concrete... c'mon Aussies let's get behind the Russians in prayer and seek God's intervention in the lives of the survivors...in prayer I sense a spirit of oppression and loss over Russia, but I believe we serve a God who specialises in these things we humans just cannot do... and when the oppression lifts, we pray God's precious Holy Spirit , descending in grace would revive the people with His presence... believe it church, we can see this happen!!!!

mystery4 said:HAve been and will be praying. But I have one question. Why is it that everyone will pray for all the people who were killed or traumatized, but noone ever thinks of praying for those of whom did these acts? Just because the acts weren't nice or good doesn't mean that God cares less for them than he does for the victims. What about Paul (previously known as Saul of Tarsus)?
