He a bit on the extreme edge of the Reformed world, his work has probably had its day.

Extreme? No. Biblically consistent? Yes. His work is actually picking up. I am blessed for have discovered him.

What do you base that on?

Talking with people in Reformed circles. It's slow but steady. Not many people are even aware of who he was. I didn't even know just a few years ago. I'm not saying I agree with him 100 % on everything but I do agree he was trying to be biblically consistent in his worldview which is sorely lacking in Christendom today. I've introducted a few people to his works.

That the Scriptures are a priority. I grew up in an Arminian church. It was Sunday go through the motions and the rest of the week the people lived out a humanistic worldview. The whole ministry of Chalcedon focuses on applying biblical principles to all of life and encourages living out a consistently biblical worldview. This is so refreshing.

How do you know how to apply biblical principles to all of life? Do we need to understand the text in its context?
