  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heavenly Father, you are so merciful and good. Your dear servant Denise goes into the MD tommorrow morning. We ask that you give her your courage and strength and peace in this difficult time. I ask that you preserve her life against any ovarian cancer or illness of any kind. Cover her and protect her, wrap your healing hands around her and nourish her soul and every organ against harm.

Lord I ask that you cause praise and thanksgiving in the midst of these events, please dear Lord preserve her life that all who love her might see your hand of Mercy and care.

Just found out today that a lady who used to be our neighbor (but we kept in contact with her and her husband) was recently diognosed with colon and lung cancer. She did not live a healthy life--she was always a little tipsy, and smoked. Neither her or her husband is a Christian--completely worldy people. It makes me so sad to see this. Please pray for her salvation as well as healing if it's the Lord's will, and then maybe she could have more time on earth to come to know Christ.
