Okay, so here's what I'm doing: I'm rounding up all RP players still left and getting their information. There are a few of us still around here, and most of us are pretty board--er, bored.
As such, I am doing two fold in this thread:

1) Getting everyone's general information so as to determine who is here and also to find out what sort of threads each enjoys, and
2) Keeping track of what sort of threads are active, which need players, and what sort of thread they are. (I did something like this a while ago with my thread spotlight, but with so little action, there's no point in reviving it.)

I will be sending out PM's to RPer's I believe to be active, but if I miss someone, do me a favor and drop them a line.

Plot summery:
Dreams are, in many ways, a portal into another world. What if, though, the other world were a reality? Several individuals are discovering that there are more to their dreams than they imagined, but will their dreams quickly become a nightmare?

Thread: Dare to Dream
Status: Dead, but revivable
Genre: Text-based Adventure(?)

Plot summery:
Years ago, a boy named Tyler Norris(then 10) was troubled by ever-increasingly realistic dreams. These dreams were caused by a demon calling himself Christian, who hid himself in the negative feelings and nightmares of Tyler; an easy task considering that Tyler's father had died only months earlier. Christian's goal: to use his powers to gain access to the real world through Tyler, while throwing Tyler forever into the dream world. However, with a little help from his dream friends, and a few real ones, Tyler was able to defeat Christian and regained his life, banishing the evil thoughts and feelings that had bound him. (End of plot from game)
Things have been weird around the neighborhood, now that Tyler(now 15) moved away last week. No one really believed his story about travelling into his dream world, except for Terry, Tyler's best friend. Still, Tyler was a good guy, and most everyone misses him. Ever since Tyler left, however, you and your friends find your dreams have been becoming strange. What could it all mean?

Note: This is not a typical RP. It incorporates the idea of a text-based adventure game with actual people. I enjoyed what little time I had to play it, and would like to try it again.

Optional information you want to share: Most of my characters have the same basic qualities, I do mainly girls, and I don't really do evil very well. I would rather make up my own character, rather than one be provided. I don't much enjoy warring rpgs(at least where its mainly about a war) and I don't really want to do a history thing, because I don't want to look up any information. I would rather stay away from space age tec. Plus, I wouldn't mind some romantic side relationship. lol
