  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Original name(not that it matters): Adam Altemann

Age:17

Height: 7'5''

Weight: (rough estimate. Could be within 100 pounds above or under... possibly more. I am horrible at guessing weight of large metal objects.)590 lbs

Eyes: one deep blue, one a large plate that covers part of the left half of his face, which has 3 rotating lenses on it for different modes of vision.

Hair: none

Skin: Only existant on head, neck, what little remains of his shoulders and chest, and right arm. Incredibly pale.

Appearance: Romulus is a cyborg, covered from head to toe with robotic body parts. His left arm resembles a human arm completely covered in armor, both legs are mechanical, and have a similar build to his arm. His right arm was left with only a few muscular augmentations, so as to leave it with full range of motion until he can develop a better robotic arm. His face has a few visable implants, but aside from the pale skin and bald head, he looks somewhat normal in the face. His left eye was removed and replaced by a mechanical one, but his right eye(his dominant eye) was left intact so as to allow normal sight. He has a metal plate on the back of his head that wraps around to part of his neck. His body from the neck down is almost entirely mechanical on the outside, with many of his original organs protected by the thick alloys that armor his body.He recently upgraded his frame and was transferred into a new body. This new body is sleeker and designed to move and look more like the human skeletal system, and has changed his motor skills from being limited to being beyond that of a normal human. His left arm and legs now look more like that of a normal robot, much thinner than the fat and clunky limbs he used to have, and far more efficient, while just as strong. He has a low caliber gun built into his left arm as one of his few weapons.

History: Romulus was born a normal child, to two scientists. The Altemann(meaning, old man) family seemed to have genius as a hereditery trait, as young Adam could read by the age of 3, and could hold a basic and light conversation from the age of two. When older, he was fascinated with engineering, but was in a tragic accident when he was 11. He was saved by a doctor named Gustav, who had been an old friend of the family. Gustav saved the boy by replacing his liver and a major artery with cybernetic implants. From then on, Adam was captivated by cybernetics, and locked himself in his laboratory for days at a time. One day, he emerged with new implants in his body, and his parents were frightened, confused, and disgusted. They still loved their son, but would not accept his odd new obsession. After deciding to "enlighten" his family, he slipped both of his parents a powerful sedative and dragged them to his lab. His father woke up to find a mechanical arm and an enhanced right eye, while his mother woke to find both of her legs were mechanical. The couple ran screaming from their home, leaving the confused Adam behind in his laboratory. They were given refuge by the government, but before they could find their son and try to reason with him, he had dissapeared. He decided that humanity was far too irrational, and must be shown the glory of cybernetics, with him as the ultimate poster boy. He assumed the name Romulus, after the founder of the Roman Empire, and Gustav, after the man who blessed him by making him a cyborg. He took on the surname Neuman(pronounced Noiman, means New Man), and delved deeper and deeper into his studies.

Personality: Romulus believes the human body to be the ultimate sculptor's block, and will often make offers to people to "enhance" them. He is generally hard to get along with, due to his reclusive nature and obsession with cybernetics. He views friendships as inefficient, and will only start one if he has something to gain from it, in most cases. He speaks in a cool and smooth voice, but it clashes with his often disturbing statements, questions, and propositions.

Abilities: He is currently a leading scientist in robotics and cybernetics, and can construct robots or cybernetic implants for many purposes. He constantly upgrades himself, and doesnt have to sleep due to an energy conversion system he developed, that uses bateries and a reactor core kept in his lab. He has inhuman, mechanical strength and has hidden weapons installed in his body, and can replace his modular components with weapons and tools. He is a genius, and speaks fluent French, German, Latin along with English, and is working on installing a translator chip for the languages he doesnt know.

Interests: He is absolutely obsessed with cybernetics and robotics, and he is his own masterpiece. He creates robots and tests experimental cybernetic implants on animals. He has dabbled some in artificial intelligence, and absolutely loves history. In fact, he named himself Romulus because he, like the man from history, wishes to be the father of a great new empire one day. He has crafted a couple melee and historical weapons in his shop, and one might be able to form a solid friendship with him if they can use historical or mechanics talk to get him in a good mood.
