CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Depends on the lady and what she's interested in. Also depends on your geographic location. A good bet for romance is usually any place that allows for moderate privacy and open communication (so no movie theaters). Try a nice restaurant with a booth or table in a dark corner maybe where you can talk and enjoy each other's company? Have you thought about a picnic in the park or at the beach? Bring either a large blanket or some portable chairs and grab some catering to go and a nice bottle of wine and head to a public (well lit, and safety patroled) beach or park.
Or, if you've been dating for a while, I'd be a sucker for a man that made me a nice candle lit dinner at home, followed by a movie.
But I'd rather do the beach picnic.

here is something i did a couple years ago. took this girl to this botanical gardens place at night. it was a night that was special bc of the constelations were especially clear on this particular night. all the paths were lined with candles and there were telescopes placed at various places on the path directed at diff constelations. you could walk along the paths and there were benches setup in this large clearing a folk band playing. i thot that was pretty slick.

It truly does depend on the lady and the relationship. Some of the best dates I've had have cost very little and were great for getting to know the person. Playing games at a cafe that has music and low key atmosphere, miniature golfing, a picnic and a walk in the park is always fun, especially if there are animals to feed and look at.
If it's "romance" well then like some of what has already been said, a nice restaurant at a booth or a table off to the side. It doesn't have to be the fanciest restaurant, but don't go for the sports bar either. It would need to be a place condusive to talking.

Well, try something plain and simple if you don't have a lot of money. Like plan a dinner and cook it. Also plan a movie in the dvd/vhs. Also give that person a simple but soothing back massage. Turn some music on. Not rap nor heavy metal but soothing music like classical or soft music like love songs.

you could always ask her what she likes to do and do that, and if she doesnt say what she likes to do, or she'll do anything, ask her best mate what she really likes to do, or atleast find out what she hates to do, and dont do that
