  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Chorus:
Roll the stone away, Roll the stone away
Lord God, Almighty gonna roll the stone away
You promised you′d rise, Lord, on the third day
Lord God, Almighty gonna roll that stone away
Repeat Chorus
Jesus was a man free from sin we know
Well He taught us that we reap the very things we sow
He taught us parables of life we see today
Hey, and on that third day He rolled that stone away
Repeat Chorus
They mocked Him and scourged Him and said his words were lies
But Jesus had compassion with pity in His eyes
And I can't wait to see what he has to say
Oh, how He felt when He rolled the stone away
Repeat Chorus
Well, He′s coming back (hey) and that's one thing for sure
Well, He's looking for the blameless, the righteous, and the pure
And I can′t wait to see what he has to say
Oh, how He felt when He rolled the stone away
Repeat Chorus (x2)
I said Lord God, Almighty gonna roll that stone away

Whew, the lead singer has got that nice 1980s hair. This is a good band, thank you for sharing, cos I have never heard of Acapella Vocal Band before. Reminds me of the Gospel where Jesus rolled away the boulder in front of His tomb.

Back in the 80s, I had great hair like that too. :) :) :)
Nice. Some folks in the 1980s had long hair like that. My hair has gotten maybe 5-6 inches (13-15 cm) long, but my parents wanted it shorter for the trip. One of these days I need to get some eco-friendly gel to put in my hair, so I can grow it to 7 inches (18 cm) or so, not too long, but long enough to shake out.

My hair is dark brown. Is/was yours brown as well?

It's gray now. But in my younger days I had blonde hair.

Nice. I am sure your wife liked your blonde hair, and I hope she likes your gray hair as well. For myself, I have one gray hair in my bangs. Just one, which I have first noticed in April 2024. Remember the two verses below, as these go to show that we will get older, and the older we get, the more wise we are and more renewed we are through the power of the Lord.

Proverbs 16:31 (ESV): "Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life."
2 Corinthians 4:16 (ESV): "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day."
