Name: Roderick Truman
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Body Type: 5‘10, 160 lbs.
Appearance: Roderick's clothing is more gray and drab than the next guy's.
Character: Roderick's sense of incompleteness frequently causes him to forget the orders that he has been given and wander off, searching aimlessly for something that he would never be able to identify. Once outside of Bethany, this will manifest as a sense of loss and desperation.
History:
Some years ago, an experienced wizard and sorcerer by the name of Feladon Trime cast a spell to split himself into three people, which he named Hezza, Ipe and Oron. Hezza received all of Feladon's sorcerer powers, and the role of leader of the trio. Ipe received quick reactions and the ability to cast simple spells, making him the best short-order fighter, and Oron was a slow, ponderous thinker, capable of spells even greater than those of the original Feladon. Unfortunately for Feladon, the shock of the spell left his three components weakened long enough for them to be captured, after which their memories were erased and they were brought to Bethany as prisoners.
Now Roderick Truman, formerly Ipe Trime, retains only one fragment of his past: a sense that he is not a complete person.
Combat capabilities:
Roderick fights best in light clothing that allows for maximum freedom of movement. In his weakened state, he would prefer to wield a dagger, should it prove necessary to fight; once his magical abilities return, he will be most capable wielding no weapon but his voice. As he regains his memories, he will also regain superhuman reflexes and endurance. Roderick will never have the mental capacity for very complicated spells; instead, he will rely on short spells spoken quickly.
