How did Magni end up on the bottom three? I am glad to see Zayra leave too. I would by her solo stuff but she just doesn't fit. If Patrice will be next I would imagine. Storm rubs me wrong too. I think seeing each of them with the band is going to really help people vote.

I agree that deciding who's best with the band will be much easier now that they're going to start playing as a band.

I was glad Zayra left last night. I think she has talent but she's probably going to need to be on her own. I also predict Patrice will be the next one voted out. I couldn't believe Magni was in the bottom three. That shocked a lot of people!

The only thing I could come up with in regards to Magni's "low" performance was that he didn't look/sound enough like a rock star - of the Supernova kinda rock. I thought he looked and sounded GREAT as did Supernova, but I think the fans thought he was too "smooth" maybe - he kinda reminded me of David Bowie rather than Dave Navaro...does that make ANY sense?

That makes sense. I think people need to look at their combined performances (ie, was this just an off night but they peformed well over the past X amount of weeks).

Yeah, that was wierd Magni is one of the top two that really would fit and deserve the position.
I am biased reagarding Patrice, simply because she's just a really classy person and performer.
Dilana, though, obviously, is more of a fit as far as women go, for this band.
Who thinks they are really gonna choose a woman, though.
I really think they know they are not going to.
Dilana might hold on til the end, though.
I just hope Storm goes before Patrice, simply because she's a tad "cheap", imo, and over the top sometimes. Not that she doesn't have a great voice.

Storm is a good singer, but it's all about her - she's a diva, and there's no room for a diva in that band. (unless you count Tommy Lee, lol)

I think Dilana is hands-down the best choice, but I think it'll be between her and Ryan at the end, and the boyz might choose Ryan because he's a guy.

GOOD RIDDANCE @ ZAYRA!

I think she might make it big in Japan and/or Eastern Europe.

Um, didn't Magni sing David Bowie? That would be why he sounded like Bowie!!! Mmm, David Bowie, love him!!!

I didn't say he sang Bowie, but rather he reminded me of Bowie - the suit, etc. I just thought of David Bowie.

And Magni just rocked last night when he sang "Creep" last night. He's awesome!

What happened on the show that I missed?
On the RSSN message boards they are talking about lip syncing, and Dilana singing a SN song that was horrible, etc.
I watched the show both nights and have no idea what they are talking about, I dont' remember Dilana singing a supernova song.
Hmm.
Anyone fill me in?

I've thought Dilana or Lucas were the only real prospects from the beginning. Magni has shown to be quite impressive, but I don't see him fronting Tommy at all...i'll be very suprized if he gets picked.
I absolutely love Dilana, but I think her song writing test may have crushed her chances.
I predict Lucas will stop trying to sound tall in the next couple performances and walk away with the spot.

Last night's show, Dilana was called on stage to play with the band. It was the first performance of the night, before the encore. And yeah, the song was horrible, not at all what I expected out of that band.

Magni on Creep was awesome, especially when he went to stand with Patrice and Zayra during the, "What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" part.

Right, that is what I'm saying, he sang David Bowie. I'm sure that put him in that suit, he thought it fit. I will have to go through my Bowie albums though because I was unfamiliar with that song.

I'm really not sure that I care as much this year. Last year I really cared but if they pick someone I don't care for then I just won't listen to their stuff. However being that INXS was already an existing band the singer had to fit just so because you didn't want them messing up all the old stuff.

Last night was a good show. Magni was lackluster but Lukas, Toby and Ryan rocked. I liked Patrice's song but it really isn't Supernova. Ryan's was awesome. His was full of energy and I loved the lyrics. Toby was brave to alter Layla and I really liked the change. Glad he didn't do the staple version. Lukas really did well but as some point I thought I would love to hear him sing Killer Queen by Queen. Something in his voice sounded like Mercury. We a great show I can't imagine who is bottom 3 other than Patrice.

Bottom three (IMHO): Patrice, Storm, Lukas

Lukas looks like he was transported from 1985. Hubby says he looks like a painted cockatoo. Either way, meh. He's the new Zayra, only way more predictable and less appealing. Hey - question - what did TL mean by "check please?"

I agree about Patrice's song, though I could see the guys changing the song up - with a different, less 'happy' singer. I really like Patrice, but not for this band. She's way too "Austin" - earnest, sincere and folky.

I think Ryan's was the performance of the night. He's starting to look like a contender.

I think Toby's having something magic-markered on his chest was DUMB, and I am not impressed with him much at all.

I love Dilana for this band, but this song was not right for her or for the band. I think it must have been too low for her - she was pitchy in the beginning. And why oh why did she say "dilana, dilana, dilana" at the end, that was lame.......

I hate Storm's buggy-eye thing, and I thought her rendition of "crying" sounded almost C&W - disturbing.....

Magni is not EVIL enough to do Kurt Cobain, thank goodness, but it means the energy from that song was not that intense - even though TL said it was - I think the kids that were there just like the song.

Did I leave anyone out? LOL
