Ripley's Believe It Or Not! (This forums needs this thread IMO)

Any Ripley's fans out there? Too bad the show is cancelled because I found some videos on YouTube and metacafe that would have made the show! If you know of such videos, post a link to it and other people can comment, say if it would have made the show, and/or post another link to a video that could have made the show. It can't break the rules, however.

I watched it waaayyyy back in the 80's. Back when the late Jack Palance hosted it. Just shows how amazing this world really is. Believe it...or not.

This would have very likely made the show:

Try swimming from Alcatraz to San Fransisco in 47 minutes, good tides, 56-degrees Fahrenheit water in a wetsuit without a lifejacket and not be too tired. Sounds very hard now, don't you think? Well, believe it or not, a 7 year old from Arizona did that. It was done a year ago, but still probably would have made the show (I'm 99.99% sure).

Have you ever been to the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum? We had one hear in Queensland Australia which was fantastic except it recently closed down for two years for some major rennovations.

I can't believe a 7 year old pulled this one off! I think he got lucky in the end, though.

-BTW, In the details, that guy claims that 7 year old can throw a 15 pound bowling ball; he is really strong, too.
