Ricky Martin, Christian?

I went to a K-LOVE concert last week and I could swear that Ricky Martin was doing backup vocals for Rebecca St. James, though he never made a public introduction and he never stole the spotlight. Any word on this?

I can gurantee you that was not Ricky Martin, he's gay. Unless he was delivered of that and went into Christian media, who knows, the power of God is amazing.

I don't think Ricky Martin has come ever come out and said he was gay. From a marketing perspective, that would be a disaster.
I was up near the front row at the concert, so I had a pretty good view. The dude was wearing this wide leather wristband... I recognized it later in pictures. I just think it would be really cool if he was doing this and being completely humble about it.

dont know about all of you, but i didnt grow up in a christian family, and i havnt been a life long christian.

Again i am amazed at the amount of judgementivity thats going on around this place!!!

ok all this is speculation...we really don't know if it's RM and we don't know if he's gay either...other men could have a similar wrist band and unless he told you he was gay or seen it with your eyes we can't assume...

well for one... Ricky Martin is not gay because doesn't He have a girlfriend...??? but besides that point we don't own anybody to have us and give us right to judge others... for one... we don't want other to judge us.

Please, remember that the words that come out from our thoughts and mouth reflect our faith... and to those who may be new christians or non-christians... they see and hear this things... let's refrain from doing so that we on the other hand will be "judged" by others. Take note my friends...It is only God who will judge and settle disputes.
Penumbra's question was answered about Ricky Martin, but besides the question... let us not linger in gossip about the guy. He's a human being to, entitled to have feelings and be treated fairly.

As far as I know Ricky Martin is not a christian. If you are a christian, God begins to work in your life to bear good fruit and repentance. I highly doubt that promotion of seduction, multiple partners, unmarried sexuality, ect.. are evidence of the kingdom of God in his life.

Many of you say don't judge the person, but the person has already judged themselves to this point by his actions. If he would have become a christian in recent times, he would have publically refuted the message portrayed in his album and videos. (At least that would seem appropriate.)

The Gospel must still be preached regardless to how feel about a person
