CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It would have been better if the richard dawkins character actually argued like richard dawkins. Instead they just made him seem incredibly condescending, way more than he actually is.

Ugh. This is satire. Liberals do this all the time and it's pretty funny when they do, most of the time. When it gets turned around though, they don't find it nearly as funny. They get all uptight and stuff. Or at least, so it seems.
I found this to be quite funny.

It's because Satire is usually accurate
This was attempted satire but because it was inaccurate I can't laugh and say "ha, yea that is true!" The point of satire is not to get it wrong.

I'm not a "liberal", nor am I an atheist.
I watched some of their other videos and I found them to be better than this one. The one where they debunk the psuedoegyptology referenced by some people is pretty well done.

He can be condescending, but he never says things like "you just need to be as educated as me and you'll understand". The character in this video is much more condescending than richard dawkins actually is.

I seriously hate atheists being thought of in terms of Richard Dawkins. Richard Dawkins is not atheist Jesus people, I didn't even know who he was until I joined this site. And I do not agree with his graceless methods.

He lacks a sort of tact but I think he handles himself very well. He simply doesn't play games and cuts straight to the point.
