Short History: Rhyd became a bard at the age of eleven, when his father died and he was forced to live on his own. He was taken in by a kind old man that once was a bard himself, who taught Rhyd all of the skills that he now has. It was from this man where he got the horse and the rat, and the cloak that he wears was once the old bard's. Three years after first meeting him, the bard died, leaving Rhyd to roam again. Now he is nomadic, moving from town to town performing in inns and taverns for money, food, and board.

Appearance: Rhyd perfers his hooded, black, bard's cloak. He is fond of the color black, as most of the clothing on him is black, coming from his general fondness of the shadows. Rhyd appears almost as a shadowy ranger, and will stick to that appearance as he can. Rhyd has fiery red hair, despite his apparent age, that is short and slightly curly. A mustache and a beard cover the bottom of his face, and two lines of fire arch above his eyes. Rhyd has piercing blue eys.
Equipment: Throwing knives are placed in various places on his person, in his sleeves, on his belt, etc. He also has a small pouch and a leather purse, both on his belt.
Personality: Rhyd is one to have his way. He is very quiet though, manipulating people over the long run, catching them in their own trap. He has good control over his temper and over his emotions.
Abilities: Besides his skill with his throwing knives, Rhyd has the general knowledge of entertaining, as well as juggling, acrobatics, and horse riding. Lastly, he is proficient with fast-talking, detecting lies, and sleight of hand.
Familiars: Byar owns a brown horse named Mandarb, meaning “Fire” in the Old Tongue. He also owns a small rat that he keeps in a pouch at his waist.
