to be fair, I doubt anyone did it intentionally, it's obviously like trump, using AI to do it, it has multiple parts back to back repeated, fake information and citations, it has all the hallmarks of chatgpt hallucinations and such.

I'm so amazed at how quickly RFK jr has deteriated, again I was expecting to have to wait till fall when his anti vax rhertoric caused flu season to be a dangerous problem. it's scary and insane how anyone this dangerous and stupid could be in charge of anything, let alone health.

I don't get why someone with a least a medical degree isn't put in charge of health. You've got to go back quite a few years in the US (and Australia as it turns out) before you have a medically qualified person in charge.

The growing popularity of unpasteurized milk in the United States raises public health concerns.

Thus why RFKjr is preventing government written research being made available to the public.

State health officials warn about infected raw milk

It’s illegal to sell raw milk for human consumption in Florida. Yet, there have been 21 recent human cases of disease-causing bacteria linked to consumption of raw milk from the same farm, state health officials said Monday.

Six of the victims were children under the age of 10.

Seven of the cases resulted in hospitalization with two people suffering severe complications, prompting the Florida Department of Health to send a health warning about the consumption of raw milk.

AND... it starts: RFK pulls half a billion from vaccine development!

The true agenda of MAHA is finally out in the open.

Half a billion here, half a billion there - pretty soon you're talking about real money!

Being anti-vaccine, anti-climate, anti-FEMA, anti-pandemic preparation, anti-mask - we may as well call MAGA, Trump and RFK what they are.

Generically.

They're just anti-science.

Normally that would be the case in the US too.

He said a “universal vaccine” that mimics “natural immunity” is the administration’s focus.

“It could be effective — we believe it’s going to be effective -- against not only coronaviruses, but also flu,” he said.

Universal vaccine? SMH.

He actually said that? It makes no sense. Does he not know how vaccines work? They prompt the body to produce natural immunity against whatever it was you were vaccinated with (obviously an inactive sample). A measles vaccination will only protect you against measles. A covid vaccine will only protect you against variations of covid.

There was some talk of the Army (USAMRID?) working on a "universal coronavirus" vaccine in 2020, probably based on attacking some generic feature of the virus group.

90% of the HHS budget is in the insurance programs. The sub-administrator for the agency that manages those programs (err, emm, arg, eeee, cringe, ow, urr, aggh, gulp) .. is a medical doctor (I think still).

Well, let them nominate a financial director as well. And that person will need a financial background.

I worked for a large engineering company years ago and the guy who ran it had an engineering background. The company doctor had a medical background. That made sense to me.

Anyone see the sitcom Modern Family - in the later seasons?

(Careful - spoilers below!)

Remember when Haley gets the job at NERP with that actress selling fake herbal health stuff?

This brilliant Australian ABC "Foreign Correspondent" piece explains how Trump's second wife is an anti-science hippie spreading anti-vaccine myths at her former husband. She helped introduce RFK to Trump because RFK is anti-science.

She sounds exactly like Haley's boss at NERP!

It showcases the hippie social media roots of the "Making America Healthy Again" movement, and how juvenile their approach to scientific process is.

Caveat: a lot of what MAHA say is great! Less fast food, a good diet high in vegetables and salads and good proteins, more exercise, mindfulness and even meditation to alleviate stress - who can argue with all that? The average MAHA may even end up being healthier than the average American citizen with these goals.

That is - until a pandemic or nasty flu season or measles outbreak!

Their main problem with vaccines? Big Pharma want money. I mean, duh! Of course! I've posted about how America's Big Pharma attacked Australia's Federal PBS for DARING to do bulk tenders that - where possible - demanded generic rather than expensive name brand meds. They went whining to Trump about our fantastic PBS!

But however they are produced, whether by a nationalised health bureau or Big Pharma corporations in the free market, vaccines themselves are one of the wonders of the modern era - something we should be profoundly grateful for! These entitled hippies seem to think their 'right to free speech' is a right to promote dangerous anti-science myths.

Measles is already on the rise in the USA.

Trump and RFK may just be the regime America deserves!

Which was a clear parody of Gweneth Paltrow and her "GOOP" brand of high-priced junk.

I watched about 3 minutes of the Marla Maples part and ran away screaming. So much nonsense.

I don't know if it is "hippie", but it is the same sort of empty, evidence free thought that all of the new age, wholistic medicine, wellness stuff has been going on for decades.

I think "crunchy" is the current term.
