  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not sure you heard but there were 3 preachers in an unnamed city that decided to have different revival to get more people into their congregations. The 3 decided to meet on the fallowing Monday for coffee to decide who got the most converts. 1st preacher had His revival and he was grinning and said he gained 4 new converts and the others congratulated him and said good job. Than the 2nd had his and he grinning even bigger said he gained 6 new converts and again they all said great, fantastic. The 3rd grinning ear to ear said well I lost 10 of my flock. The other 2 said why so happy then? The preacher smiling said because I lost 10 of the biggest trouble makers you ever seen.
