Written several years ago. Any input would be appreciated. 
Jesus hurried down the long, brightly lit hallway towards his fathers throne room. Although he spent most of his time before God interceding for humanity, it was usually by his own initiative. This time God had summoned him.
Jesus burst though the heavy double doors into the glorious presence of the Lord; but today...
"Abba," Jesus began, "my Lord, I feel a burden on your heart and I can see it in your eyes. What's wrong?"
"My son, my spirit is grieved. He tells me that the situation in the land overshadowed by the eagle's wings has worsened: they seek after mamon, worship all manor of idols, and freely dabble in occultic rituals. I have no choice..."
Respectfully, but with all the authority aforded him as God himself, Jesus spoke. "Father, remember their beginnings. As a nation under God, founded by christian men, they walked in your light for decades. You smiled upon them and made them powerful and prosperous. They in turn sang praises to you and thanked you for their abundant blessings. Their fathers dwell with us today, Lord; remember them, and their love for you, and spare their children's nation."
Jehovah was noticably moved by his son's words, but his heart still weighed heavy. A tear rolled slowly down His cheek as He exactingly and powerfully responded. "Their children threw us out of their schools! They have twisted our words and discarded our commandments! They teach lies and deceit! The truth is not in them!" God sighed heavily. The tears now began to flow freely. "Yashua, listen closely. With each new generation their evil and wickedness have grown. Children don't respect their parents and rebellion runs rampant. I form babies in mothers wombs and they defiantly tear them apart, and turn my handy work into refuse. They parade their homosexuality and sexual perversions before men as if they were holy and honorable. My son, they call truth a lie, and a lie the truth. Judgment must fall."
Jesus paused a moment pondering what his father had said. "The blood covers many." He said moving closer to his father. "Must they be judged as well?"
"My wrath is kindled against this nation, and it will not be quenched; therefore I have no other choice; because they have disobeyed and mocked me, today the whole world shall be judged. Go, my son. Go into the four corners of the earth and bring them all to me--all those who have been washed in the blood of the lamb--so that we may celebrate their salvation, and so that I might release my anger against the United States and the whole world. This day Satan shall be crushed, and his disciples with him."
Jesus spread his arms and looked into Jehovah's eyes. "Be it as you say, Lord, but I would ask one thing."
"My beloved son, ask and it shall be given unto you."
"By these scars in my hands, I plead for mercy. By these scars in my feet, I beg for patience. I was pierced that all might have the chance to choose salvation. My God, by my wounds I request revival for the eagle, so that all might see her turn to you, and so that as many as possible might be saved."
The father stood, and embraced his son. "You are truely the good shepherd--and worthy to be called Savior! Again your words and sacrifice have subdued my anger. My judgment will be tempered with mercy. For the world and the United States I speak grace and patience. Revival will wash over the land overshadowed by the eagle's wings, and then over the whole earth." God again took his seat upon his thrown. He raised his septor and pounded it three times on the floor. All of heaven knew what this meant and hushed to hear what God would say.
"Hear me all ye angels and inhabitants of heaven. I, the Lord, will bring revival unto the entire world. I will produce a hunger in their hearts which can only be satisfied by my son. I will do this one last time, and then it will be finished! No longer will I abait my anger and grief! The time has now come! The last days are upon the whole earth!
"Hear me ye inhabitants of the earth! Hear me now for I will not let my son tarry much longer! Watch and follow me because I am about to lead you into salvation. Revival will break out around you and, if you follow me, it will break out within you; then the end will come! My son is reaching out his hand to you! Take hold of it now and grip it tightly so that we might soon celebrate together! The foundation has been lain! The price has been paid! Look up, for your redemption draweth nigh! Thus sayith the Lord!"
