Reunions and death of a generation

With my grandmother passing away last month we have lost a generation.
That makes my parent's generation the reigning family generation.

So they and the siblings and cousins at that level are planning a family reunion.
They decided they did not want to meet just for funerals.

It will happen during the summer at the church campgrounds.
There is expected to be family from all over the USA.

Being one of the oldest from my generation I am volunteering to assist in planning and ideas.
Anybody out there have ideas for big family reunions?

I'm thinking maybe tshirts and mugs with the family name.
Maybe try to put together a family recipe book.

im sorry for your loss ..
My dad died nov 21 st a couple of months ago and they made from his school age pictures a album for each of the children[i am one ] and mom
from first grade to high school and love it .. seeing the changes and growth

a reunion sounds great , there is hardly any left on my dads side now

gathering together sounds awesome

I have no ''good ideas'' but some of grandmas favorite recipes to share and keep in the family is a great idea!

Yikes. My mom is into genealogy.
Do you have any idea how long that would be?
