I don't think so, because the producers have said everything has a logical, non-supernatural explanation.I like all the religious symbolism, too. I think that there's at least one Christian on the screeenwriting team.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Others might be getting all of this information on the islanders from demonic sources?
Oh. Well, it kind of seems like the Others are getting their info from supernatural sources. Either that, or they have a really sophisticated Internet database that lists everything about every person on the planet.

I don't know about 'demonic' anymore, but for a while, it seemed like the Others had so much information on the Losties that they couldn't have possibly gotten it the conventional way. I mean, for an ordinary person to know as much about Jack as the Others do--without actually having met him--a normal person would have to LIVE on Google! But, as is shown in some more recent episodes, the Others aren't exactly ordinary. For one thing, they're a LOT more annoying than normal people (i.e., Juliet).
I like all of the religious symbolism. The only thing I didn't like, as a Catholic, is them putting the heroin in the Blessed Mother statues.
