Jesus didn't write the Nicene Creed and the Apostles never chanted the Apostles' Creed. Nor did any of them deify the New Testament, which hadn't been written. (They apparently did fine without it.) It wasn't a requirement to treat others decently. So much ornamental dogma, doctrine and ritual has been added that the essentials of what Jesus was trying to teach has been lost. And Christians have been arguing, anathematizing, torturing and murdering each other over those excrescences for nearly two millenia. (To say nothing of laying up treasures in this world, and taking whatever they could at the point of a sword!)
I don't think Christians realize what they look like from the outside. And they are obviously accustomed to the stench.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

That's all that's required. Apparently it is more than Christians can manage.

It's a wonder that people have not come up with a better name for the difference between a follower of Jesus and the religion which is bonded to the world in it's worship of CASH.

Here is still more misrepresentation, which is so typical in communication in these forums. There are, to be sure indeed, a lot of injustices in this world. Absolutely any of them are right to address. And I do indeed speak to other injustices including any I know of among and between any of humanity. And why will mistreatment of humanity all stop while other mistreatment still goes on? That does not follow from reason. There is assumption here otherwise that is without knowing. You might not believe what is said in the Bible, but the injustice, including to other humans, which I mentioned, and the health concerns and environmental concern there are, is all real, and I used what is really said in the Bible, for believing what God is concerned with, so there is still dismissal with misrepresenting like that.

It shows that what I post is not really looked at carefully, to consider. I had just addressed that, and even in what I was originally posting for this issue, in this thread, I addressed concern for welfare of and injustice to humans, including starvation of some which is very related to this, which it shows was just disregarded. Do you just use fair trade coffee and chocolate? If not, or if any other injustice or harm to any of humanity is neglected, it is hypocritical to make accusation against a position from my posts about not giving concern for human welfare. But no harms or injustices occur in isolation from any other wrongs in this world. It is right to address any of them, as I said, and the more being addressed is better. Just who is any to say something that is wrong should not be addressed? And I brought up issues about this anyway to answer the question that I was asked. This was really about what would concern God, not even to address here what one of us might worry about.

The talking animals are not a problem in the Bible. The devil, who is involved in all deception from initiating it in the beginning, was the one appearing as a serpent, the meaning of that term not having to be specifically for a kind of snake. Manifestations of Yahweh or miracles mentioned are not a problem, and there is suggestion which should not be surprising to truly Bible believing Christians that there was more communion between humans and animal creatures early on.

Though some are among Christian believers giving offense in some way(s) to the faith there are believers that are called to truly saintly living, who for some in growing to that as I see are in reality being persecuted more.

I wondered about how this was thought to be good argument to counter. Why not just actually consider my points to address? Rather than saying another does that who doesn't actually, why not just speak for yourself?
