What!? Hogwash! Creationists believe in a common ancestor too, Adam & Eve, as well as a higher power who judges mankind. So that rubbish makes no sense.

Yup, exactly. Plus Christianity has been around a lot longer than the theory of evolution. Christianity is handed down from generation to generation but people have to go to school to learn evolution which is where they also learn racial tolerance and interact with different people. So more educated people attach themselves to the false new age belief of evolution. But common people AND educated people believe in creation.

So does the belief in God creating Adam and Eve as the first humans and all other humans share that common ancestry.
Christians can believe in common ancestry with other humans without believing in evolution.

I would expect that people who believe in a common ancestry would be in opposition to racism since all races are related to one another deriving from one couple. I’m highly skeptical about the accuracy of this study.

I agree, it is an insult for homosexuals to deliberately go to a Christian baker and ask for a wedding cake. They know good and well Christians oppose that. That's why they do it. It's an attack on Christianity and they try to twist it to make the Christians look bad. There are literally thousands of places they can go to get their wedding cake from people who will be glad to help them.

It did not work for Hitler. He used evolution to develop his theory of the master race. One of the justifications for slavery was that blacks were closer to apes than whites and so inferior. Muslims are not racist. They despise all non-Muslims equally.

The words Christian and racist are contradictory to one another. A person can’t be both no matter how much they claim to be.

So more educated people attach themselves to the false new age belief of evolution.
On what basis, exactly, do you conclude that evolution is "false"? How do you explain the fact that tens of thousands highly trained experts are virtually unanimous in asserting that evolution has the status of fact.

Are they all incompetent?

Is there a mass conspiracy to delude?

Even if all this is true, it has no bearing whatsover on the question of whether evolution is the correct account of how we "got here".

On the basis of what the Bible says is why I know evolution is wrong. Those who believe in it are deluded themselves. Plus the theory of evolution claims that people evolved, and that some people are more evolved than other people. So that's more rooted in racism than Christianity will ever be.

LOL Now you want to claim it has nothing to do with race. Evolution is based on the idea that people evolved from slime or whatever and that some groups of people are more evolved than other groups. That's what your theory embraces. Then evolutionists have the nerve to try to say Christians are more racist.

Yes I absolutely agree because Christianity concludes that all mankind derived from one source whereas evolution derives mankind from several different sources which would further promote the idea of superiority. Evilution suggests that some are more evolved than others whereas the creation account in Genesis teaches the opposite.

Those who believe in it are deluded themselves.

This is rather implausible - how do you explain that people who were otherwise competent enough to earn advanced university degrees all this rather specific delusion and to invest their lives in propagating it.

Sounds rather far-fetched, don't you think?

Plus the theory of evolution claims that people evolved, and that some people are more evolved than other people.
What is your source for this assertion?

Indeed there is. It is illegal to to teach Creation in many schools these days. It was not always the case. I was taught both in high school. I was not a believer, but I rejected evolution and accepted the Creation account. Few get the choice these days. When I was growing up, evolution was taught as a theory. Now it is taught as fact. Most people will accept a point of view until an alternative is offered. When that alternative is suppressed, what do you expect?

If you want a career in science, you will not say that you believe in creation. Very few people manage to break free from the ideological shackles that educationists and the science world places on researchers. The scientific realm is just as corrupt, dishonest, devious and self seeking as any other. If you want tenure or grants, you go with the flow, not against it.

I'm sure there are additional correlates in this mix which contribute to racist attitudes. It's not merely a reflection of whether or not a person signs onto the dotted line in support of the Theory of Evolution.

Let's keep this in mind.

Misleading, I believe. It is illegal to teach creation as science.

Surely you must know that making it illegal to teach creation as science is not evidence of a conspiracy to delude - there is another, much more plausible explanation: it is illegal to teach creation in science class because it rather obviously does not qualify as a plausible scientific theory.

Advanced science has always appeared to be implausible by primitive societies and at that time primitive societies never actually considered themselves to be primitive until decades if not centuries later after their technology had significantly advanced. One thing that has remained constant is that many things that were once considered implausible in the past have been proven to be plausible in the present.
