I've decided to do some redecorating. However, everytime I see a different colour I think of a different scheme. I can't decide on anything.

What room are you wanting to decorate?
The way I like to decorate is to pick an object in that room and decorate based on that object. For instance, my master bedroom is all based on the bedspread. All colors and decor go with the bedspread.

The walls should be your first focus, are you allowed to paint where you live?

I'm doing my bedroom.
The walls are my problem. Like I said, I can come up with a different decoration scheme for every colour. My biggest fear is redecorating, then deciding I don't like it.

Do you have a favorite object in that room that you just LOVE? A piece of furiture, upholstery fabric on a chair, a rug, a picture on the wall, a lamp, a picture frame, a trinket on your dresser, a bedspread, a throw pillow, etc...?
What I'd suggest is finding your favorite thing in that bedroom (or go buy something that you LOVE if you don't have something in there already that you love) and take it to your paint store and find a nice matching or complementing color.
For a bedroom, the bed should be a major focal point, if not THE focal point. Work on finding a nice bedspread or comforter and make sure you havwe lots of accent throw pillows. Have a bed ruffle or skirt.
