oh yes! season 1, 2 & 5 are the best, most of the others are ok but the last 2 were just baaaad.

rimmer gets some of the funniest lines, the male holly is just cool, but i used to fancy lister when i was 12.......

okay im a geek

That show is the smeg. Season 7 may have been dodgy but the one with JFK must have been the best ever...

I love Red Dwarf, but have not seen it in ages.....used to rerun on PBS, but I haven't seen it in a while.

I've begged hubby to get me the DVD collection, but even that's been hard for us to find!

Red Dwarf is great. I only recently got into it again, when I borrowed a friends video. I've now got series 1 and 2 on DVD.

I can't get enouigh of Red Dwarf. It's a shame that they stopped making them.

Red Dwarf has been one of my all-time favorites for a long time. The DVD set is pretty affordable now at Suncoast. Season 7 was bad, but the last season was by far the worst, completely changed the feel of the show and it ended very ambiguously. Rimmer is probably my favorite character, but the real beauty of the show is that the extreme personalities of every character really play off all the others, so it wouldn't be funny without all of them there. That's probably why the show took a real downturn when Rimmer left.

I loved the earlier series, many a happy night in laughing to Red Dwarf.

Lister is the best.

Oh man, I loved that show. I understand about the early shows being better. I wasnt keen on the series where they were in prison. Otherwise it was great.
