Recommendations from the last five to ten years

I do listen to all types of music or at least try to. Anyways, there are a lot of talented artists out there, even nowadays singing or playing or writing. I am just a person who is admittedly a bit stuck in my ways to admit this sometimes. I tend to listen to music mostly from before 2005 except for some Christian music like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, and dc Talk. I obviously know of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, John Legend, and Miley Cyrus. However, half of the modern artists, I either don't listen to or don't know about. I guess I would be considered "old" by some of the younger people on this forum. Having said all of that, which songs by which artists of especially the last five or ten years would you recommend me listening to? It is just that some of the stuff that I have listened to or try to listen to lately is awful and in my opinion is not worth listening to. It is either irritating, too blasphemous, too much foul language, or just plain bad. I am not saying that every artist before 2000 was talented or lack a cringeworthy factor, but I just have my personal likes and dislikes. That is all.
