Recollecting memories from the past, is it a sin?

So I've been raised a Christian and fallen off the path a one point in my life. Now, I genuinely live my life for the Lord and the advancement of the kingdom of heaven. But I have this nagging question that keeps coming back. Sometimes as I recollect over my past, I end up thinking of sexual things I've done, I ask myself if that's a sin. I genuinely don't know and there's no physical act along with the memories, just pondering on my past. If any brother or sister can help she'd some light, I'd appreciate it. God bless you all.

I have often thought of what went on in my adultery and i know that bringing it back / thinking about it in the mind is indeed a sin! I try to change the 'view' when it enters my mind. Can be difficult to do that but one has to persevere. It was a massive sin committing adultery so bringing it back into my thoughts is a sin in itself if i ponder on it etc.
