CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for one of my friends. She could really use it, I can't go into much detail right now...but I'm going to lose her if God doesn't preform a miracle....please please pray for her. Thanks...whit
this is a journal entry by one of her friends....
"Prayers needed. I've convinced Ashley to die in the hoospital with medical professionals to make it easier. She's really really sick. Cold, fatigue has set in and she's very tired, and she's lost a LOT of blood. She's on her period and is not clotting, her many cuts are refusing to stop bleeding and she's basically bleeding to death. I've convinced her to let me make her supper and then we're going to the hospital. I think its too late though. She's on her way out. I don't know where this strength is coming from. Thank you, Father. But she's not going to die alone. I won't let that happen. My mother is out of town and I managed to get a hold of her and tell her and she's getting someone to come stay with my brother because I'm supposed to be looking after him. Its all right I went to the Irving an hour ago and got my smokes. I'm going to need more than smokes to get me through the next few days. But I think its too late. She's too far gone at this point. *takes a deep breath* Off I go........ *sobbing*"

I have and will pray. Pray that God would strengthen and comfort your friend, may He give the doctors wisdom, and that His will will be done, for He knows what is best.

Ash is still alive and in ICU this morning. There's not a whole lot that the doctors can do for her, they're giving her blood and vitamin K....she's still really weak and refusing to eat...please continue to pray for her. Thanks a lot guys...
