Really mature singles

Has there been any comments for a more mature singles thread? Maybe there isn't that many around my age but I would feel more comfortable talking to someone that is closer in age and someone I can relate to. Trying to relate to someone that is still raising children or still has 20-30 years to retirement is maybe not something of interest to someone my age. Grandkids, traveling, 60's-70's trivia, planning for retirement etc. I've noticed on here some people do not want/like the attention of some people out of their age bracket.

Just a thought.

I think that's a great idea! I don't even usually check this forum anymore because I'm quite a bit older than everyone else. Just came here now on a whim.

I recently moved from the boonies that had deer, elk, bear, fox, coyotes, bobcats, and much more. And reportedly mountain lions.

I'm assuming that we contact the mods and ask for their help. I would think that they have already seen this post and would have responded by now. Guess not.

I hung around the Golden Eagles forum for awhile but that got tedious since it really isn't a singles forum. Kinda boring to.

Why did you leave? Seems to me to be the lifelong dream of some people. I know it was my dream to get off the "grid".

It was my lifelong dream. I was a homesteader; gardening, animals, hunting, etc was my life. But life as I knew it turned upside down and every which way and spit me out in a small town. (divorce) However, I learned you can homestead wherever you are!

hmmm........sorry to hear that. That's exactly why I'm in the boonies. After my divorce years ago I couldn't afford to live anywhere else. My buddy said I should have remarried my X because she was "well off" from the divorce Now instead of just dreaming while I'm reading "Backwood Homes" I'm living it.

I've PM'd some mods to see if a new forum can be started for "real" mature singles.
