CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praeclarus!!! However, for the sake of growth and fellowship I wish to challenge your conclusions.
Now, let me start with stating how I interpreted your conclusions:
The world can only attain its desire peace, if it as a collect whole lets go of its artificial barriers manifested as indifference within the individual self.
Now, I would say this is wrong, however, only in subtle way that intended or not comes through to me, and is at the heart of what I believe to be the problem.
That is the idea of the superimposition of self over the collective whole (collective council).
This idea is best explored in the example you cited:
The 14-year-old superimposes the false idea superimposed on him in youth, and makes poor judgment based on that.
However, I believe it is also present in your way of thinking:
As it still easily fall in to the category of: if the world was more like me(self image not reality) then we all be better off.
I argue that simply isnt true, not only because of the reason you cited but further more is that a proper body(human kind) can only run when the individual(cell) assertively does their intended(differing even to the point of opposition) purpose within the system.
