  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 Hi there! Thanks for the Welcome 2scoops. :) Love being here to fellowship and learn.

• I am from Southeastern PA. Lived there my entire life...except for College.

• Yes, I do attend Church. I used to attend an upbeat evening service geared towards people my age, but I now go in the morning so that I can take my mother. It's more important for me to get her there.

• No Children ... unless a Dog counts? Infact, it does count.
Yes. I have a devil of a fur-kid. lol ;)

• A type of music is really hard for me to narrow down. I do like a wide variety of music. For the past year, it's been nothing but Christian Rock. But I have started to add things back in...ever heard of WXPN (88.5) in Philadelphia? That's the type of music I listen to. Local, Independent, Unique and/or Developing artists. Don't know how else to explain it. Anything but POP. lol ;)

thanks for asking

What kind of dog do you have?
What did you major in college, where did you go?
Chrisitan rock is right up my alley. Who are some artists that you like?
Is your mom okay?

• Ridgeback/Lab mix - He looks like a Deer..most handsome man I've met to date ;)

• I majored in Psych and Graphics / Online Design.

• To be honest, I rarely pay attention to names..unless I simply have to find 'that' song...that's horrible. It's what I listen to most and I don't even know names. Well, groups that I have been moved to look further into and have purchased: SwitchFoot, Ten Shekel Shirt, Jars of Clay, Sarah Groves (not very rockish however)...and LifeHouse.

Secular Favs? - Van Morrison, RedHouse Painters, DMB, Damien Rice, KT Tunstall, Josh Kelley.

• My mother has been through too much to even get into - kind of heart-breaking at the moment to think about. I really appreciate you asking though. She loves the Lord and always has, but she doesn't drive much, so I try to take her every week if possible. She's suffering from Kidney Failure. :( We, well..I was hoping to donate..but she isn't emotionally ready. She'll be undergoing dialysis surgery soon.
Just my hopes that she'll be lifted, if only for a Sunday.

Blessings.

You date your dog, that's kind of weird, just kidding.;)

What do you do for a living?
Have you ever been married?
Is your mother married?

I am so sorry to hear about your mother, that is so sad, and I hope that she is healed.I will keep her in my prayers, and you as well because I know it's got to be rough on you. That's pretty noble of you to offer your kidney, hope everything turns out o for the good.

Oh gosh no... he's too slobbery of a kisser n takes up too much room in my bed. Plus, having to treat him like he's 2 1/2 is really unattractive. ;) Ok...i'll stop. :sorry:

What do you do for a living? I'm a graphic designer for a vacation company.

Have you ever been married?Close. But No.

Is your mother married?Yes. Father and Mother are still together. Physically together; not emotionally, mentally or any other 'ally's' you would like to add on there.

Don't know what else to say, but Thank you for :crossrc: . Very much.

What are some of your favorite movies?
Jurassic Park (no lie, my #1 fav), Bridget Jones, Igby Goes Down, The Family Stone, What Dreams My Come, The Other Sister, Fisrt Wives Club ... not sure what else at the moment. I am really bad at remembering them..I could be watching one for the second time and have no idea that I saw it before. What's with that?

Places to eat?

Any place serving Greek or Mexican or Seafood. I'm into going to an over-the-top rest. once a year. It's a treat. Like SimonPearce. Otherwise, lo-key and casual is the way to go.

Have you ever been to a concert, if so, who?
-First concert was Michael W. Smith actually. I don't even know when.
-Then plenty of Dave Matthews through HighSchool and one two-dayer a year or so ago.
-Creed on New Years a while back (fabulous-I was really blown away - didn't think I would like them at all).
-Willie Nelson..loved it. ;)
-Pearl Jam - Eh. May have been my mood.
-Favorite concert was Barenaked Ladies. Absolutely Amazing. Quite the Entertainers and Hilarious!!

how do you like being 28?
what was your best year so far, and why?

• Being 28 is fine. I don't feel 28 though. It's kind of an awkward age really.

• That's a toughy. There are alot...but I'd have to go with 9th Grade...I was 14. I was innocent. Enough said. :)
No, it was just such a carefree, oblivious time in my life. So many hilarious memories. Hardly a worry. It was also when I started to really think about the deeper aspects of life...faith, love, future etc. That was the year that my identity really started to develop.

Okay, now your starting to speak my language, Creed was swesome in Concert. I saw them in Cincinnati their last tour before they broke up. They were awesome, they were with 12 Stones and Jerry Cantrell. They are probably my all time favorite band.

Have you heard Scott Stapp's solo cd? He was the lead singer for Creed if you forgot.

When's the last time you went out on a date?Lil' over a year now. Wasn't ready in any way. Waking up slowly now and shaking it off.

What are some of you pet peeves?oh man, i'll have to think about this one. Not that I have a lot or anything, lol, just a good question.

What are some of your some of your favorite bible verses? Isaiah 42:9 (will actually always be #1), Is 43:1-2 n 18-19, Psalm 88 & Habakkuk 2:2
Those that really speak to me and end up being favorites change quite a bit. It's been these for a while now though.
