Before he accepted Jesus as His savior, he used to drink, take drugs, cheat on his wife and beat his wife. He didnt want to do bad things, but he didnt know how to stop.
His barber has invited him to church, and Sam Townsend came to church for the first time at the age of 23. One lady has asked him if he wants to come up to the altar for prayer. He agreed. He repented for his sins and was really touched by God. He became a new person and was delivered right away from his bad habits by the power of God. He wanted to go home and ask his wife for forgiveness, because he really mistreated her. But when he came home, she threw his suit case out with all his things in it. He cried and told her about his salvation through the door. She did let him come in the house.
