  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

:preach: We all can bring someone to Jesus if we start believing in ourselves and in the power of God.
All God has asked us to do is plant and water the seed [God's Word], and He will make them grow. We are to tell others about the salvation that is found in Jesus.
I believe that most people don't evangelize because they feel inadequate to do the job.
Moses, one of the greatest leaders the world has ever known was a man who at first felt inadequate to do the job. God chose Moses to deliver the Israelites from slavery. But Moses felt that he could not do the job, so he gave God several excuses why he shouldn't go.
" Who am I, that I should go?"
We question our abilities many times as well. We say," I can't share the gospel with others because I am not smart enought. I don't know enough about the Bible. In response to our doubts God says that He will be with you.
Next," What if they do not believe me or read what I have to say?
There are many people who reject the teachings of the Bible, but they are not rejecting us, they are rejecting God. As we bring forth God's Word we cannot worry about rejection.
What kind of excuses do you offer God for not evangelizing to others?
I am too tired.
I don't have time.
I work too much.
Matthew 10:32 - " Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."
Brethren, there are many people around us who are lost. God has commissioned every one of us to tell others about Jesus. We must stop using excuses and rely upon God and bring His people out of the slavery of sin. We can do it if we just start believing in ourselves an the power of God.
This I believe, you and I can make a difference in the Kingdom of God ....one person at a time.
An Illustration
An old man walking the beach one morning, noticed a young man walking ahead of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea. Catching up with the youth, he asked what he was doing. The young man said that the starfish would die if they were left on the beach until the morning sun.
But the old man said," the beach goes on for miles, and there must be millions of starfish." How can your effort make a difference?
The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and threw it to safety in the waves.
" It makes a difference to this one," He said.

Again, lets make a difference in the Kingdom of God ----- one person at a time.

There so many ways of sharing one's Faith with others. I have read the book called "Gospel for Asia" by YK Yohannan... he is Asian (Indian) and he has deep love for Asians and he understands how better Asia would be if it were a Christian continent and he grieves over all the lost souls. He puts the weight of the problem that there aren't a lot of missionaries in the field and we in this part of the world have the key for the salvation of our Asian counterparts. So I try to send the organization money, I can't go to Asia myself, but I can facilitate others to either go or for the Asian missionaries to stay and evangelize their own. I also would like the same for Africans and Eastern Europeans well everyone really... I can't do it myself, but if I can facilitate at least one person with money to buy Bibles or to able to get a christian education for that person to go and teach and evangelize in his life he could (or she could) reach dozens of people... so in a way even if I am not doing it myself I did my part.
