Hello all,
I belong to a Christian Reformed Church in my hometown. Most people have never heard of the Reformed Church denomination. I was wondering...how would I describe what this denomination is to a stranger? Can someone help me out?

Give them a copy of the posted beliefs of your church, standard definitions in Christianity regarding church is not something that is standard. You can call a church anything but the question is what do they believe.

Going deep into doctrine is a third step. Describe the church, invite them out and discuss doctrine as the last step. You will notice doctrine will flow after the invite to worship. Ex "Why do you _______ during the service?"
