Appearance: When comparing him to the physique of others, Raymus would be considered average; not slim or tall nor athletic or bulky nor heavy or round, but simply normal. Though that would be the only thing. Everything else about Raymus? Far from average. His face is more long and oval than square, his skin fair, and his features tend to portray a captivating appearance that suggests he holds intriguing secrets. His eyes are almond shaped, narrow and brown with a hint of light green surrounding the pupil, situated under thin and slightly arched eyebrows. Most of the time, especially out in public among his followers, he holds a dashing smile on a clean shaven face. His hair is short in light brown, loose curls around the tips of his ears, hairline on his forehead, and top of his neck.
Besides his overall appearance, Raymus’ attire is made appropriate for his popular standing. Often it’s tailored from silk or a softer material, and consists of plain trousers and a shirt, a more elaborately detailed and colored waistcoat, a steinkirk wrapped around his neck, and knee high boots. If he goes out or are around others, he wears a blue coat with several buttons down the front and around the sleeves, and if it’s extra cold? An overcoat. He also carries with him a walking stick in a rich mahogany, handcrafted with detailed designs that he uses for the slight limp in his left leg that he acquired from an injury as a young boy.
Personality: Raymus is charming, to put it simply. Although he’s not a frequent manipulator, it wouldn’t be hard for him to accomplish as he’s good at getting people to listen. Very good. People look up to him, and he knows that, so he feeds off of it. His reputation is on the topmost of his priorities, and he will become defensive should anyone try to oppose him. For that reason, he would indeed be considered prideful, and has trouble admitting when he’s wrong. Instead he’ll be even more determined to prove himself worthy. Unfortunately, that mindset tends to make his actions brash, and often leads to bigger dilemmas.
But the man is not without his good qualities. Aside from being a gentleman, he treats others with respect and generosity. He’s friendly, outgoing, and incredibly intelligent. He’s a true pacifist, hates aggression, and holds a deep desire for peace within his own people. His heart is in the right place.
