Okay - no explanations, but can we discuss..?
I want to say that I think there is contentment in the desire to achieve... so someone might be 95% content whilst they still have a long way to go until they are living their 'ideal life!'
(anyone agree or am I talking rubbish..?)

i have no idea why i'm so low.
it really doesn't have anything to do with possessions or accomplishments, because everything is just...not worth it anymore. like about the homeless man (that one user mentioned), maybe they're content to some degree at least. content enough to want to stay alive in such conditions. nothing really makes me happy anymore.

This might be a narrow minded thing to say, but I'm going to say it...
When I feel blue, I give myself some time to chill out, drink coffee, read the papers... whatever... as long as I'm alone...
I think about why I'm down, and I think (real, proper, hard, brain-boiling thinking!) of ways to make things better.
This usually works for me, simple as it sounds!
The reason I do it alone, is because
1 - we shouldn't be dependent on other people for our happiness. We NEED other people, but we shouldn't depend on them
2 - When I'm glum, I don't feel like seeing anyone cos I know I'll be bad company!
