Yeah, great song. Although not my favourite version. Oddly enough, the version of this song that I absolutely love is by Boney M, of all people. Have you heard it? It's great.

Anyhoo, time for some German metal. Here are 'The Scorpions', with "The Sails of Charon".

This is not the actual video clip, but I chose it from amongst all the other youtube videos because it had the clearest sound.

Remember, they are a German metal band, so you will listen to it and you will enjoy. We have ways of making you do so.

Man, I'm sorry, but I really hated that song. Awful clip, even worse music. 2/10.

Here's something that definately won't appeal to everyone, so if you give it a bad rating, I'll understand, (unlike Sabbath with less guitar-what were you thinking?).

Anyhoo, this is "Blackmore's Night". It's the band that Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple formed, with his new partner as the vocalist, (hubba hubba).

I warn you, this ain't Purple people. It's this medieval, folk Renaissance middle ages type music-very different, and they all dress up in period costume.

8/10 I actually really like this, but my taste in folk music is generally a bit more trad. (And 6/10 for her. She's cute, but not really my type).

And no offense taken old chap. I actually like the fact that my music tends to polarise. I prefer people to heavily dislike it then just go 'meh'. (And most old school metal would be better with less guitar solos. I hate Hendrix for the same reason).

And speaking of metal with no guitar solos, I give you Napalm Death, with "Scum".

Liked it , 8/10 . Lyrically , it's right up there with "16th Century Greensleeves " , " Man on the Silver Mountain " , or even some of Zepplins stuff .
