  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Snakes could care less.In the wild they eat live and dead prey. Live prey is bad because 1. They bite. This causes severe infection if not treated and especially bad if the live prey is left unwatched with a snake. 2. They carry massive ammounts of parasites and i have had to deal with parasites in reptiles and it isn't pretty. Its much more expensive and hard to treat then a mammal with parasites. I spent over $350 treating a pinworm infection in a leopard gecko, and it didn't even make it.

Join Redtailboa.net. I have kept reptiles for 8 years and have a friendship with the largest collection of boa constrictors in the country.

I have two rats named Rufus and Moca. They're both girl rats that I adopted from my little brother's class at the end of the year. Rufus is called that cause she is a naked rat(has no fur) and the kids decided to name her after the naked mole rat on Kim Possible.

They're both so cute! And smart, too! They know how to get into everything!

I had 2 rats 10 years ago. The first one I had for three months. It had a lot of personality and was extremely friendly. One night it got inside my couch and felt the full force of the springs. I got another but it was rather cold toward me so I gave it to a friend for pet food. My house cockatiels didn’t like the furry pets and it was starting to turn them wild so I didn’t get a replacement.
