My avatar gave that away, huh?

Yes, I like some of his books and the cartoon is one of my favorite childhood shows.

Yup! I've seen your avatar for so long now but then I got curious. I read Darkwing when I was in elementary school! I don't remember much of it but I didn't even know there was a show about it!

It was such a shame the show didn't live up to its full potential. It was planned to have 36 episodes spanning across the first three books but the company lost funding so they settled with 13 episodes loosely based on the first book.

No wonder! I actually find that happens with so many series. I mean before I was a Born Again Christian they cancelled Percy Jackson, The Vampires Assistance, The Mortal Instruments ... I guess not every book is good to be a show or movie!

CYBERSIX WAS MY FAVORITE! I loved it. Yup The Last Airbender was terribleeee, I didn't even watch it by choice. I heard the Eragon books are good too - didn't even remember about the movie. The creator of The Last Airbender is one of my favorite directors M Night Shyamalan. He made the movies the sixth sense, unbreakable, split, etc. The last airbender was a dood for him for sure. I haven't heard of any of those titles except Cybersix. Maybe it's because you are a bit older than me

I saw it with my girlfriend at the time and we both agreed it was terrible. I never watched the original series.

Yeah me neither

I saw Sixth Sense, Signs, Split, The Happening, and The Last Airbender. The Sixth Sense is definitely his most defining one with the perfect plot twist.

Agree The Sixth Sense was gold esp for a 1999 movie. It changed the entire scene for ghost movies ... but for people who understand Split in relation to unbreakable ... it was a kickstarter for him and I do believe he is recreating a super hero world. Signs was phenomenal too! It was my fav movie for a while

This is true but at least 90s kids can say they had the best television. I have no idea what nonsense is on TV nowadays

While watching Split I was waiting for the signature twist ending. All I saw was an aged Bruce Willis and did not understand it at all.

Did you see the movie unbreakable? it's by Night as well! it connects with Split aka Bruce Willis. If you haven't watched Unbreakable then you won't get the Bruce Willis part. It's crazy how they connect. Essentially Bruce Willis is the arch enemy of The Horde. They are making a 3rd movie because Split is considered the not-so-sequel to Split. Once you get it you will be amazed

Amen brother! So true. The video games were great. I still have a GameCube

It also reminds me of a quote from a 90's movie called 'Dazed and Confused'...

"The 50's were crap. The 60's were awesome. The 70's were crap. Do you think the 80's will be awesome?"
