Hey yo welcome to the kingdom of C.H.R.I.S.T.
Taste and see the glory of the One who was, is, and will ever be
I'm writing out prose unto the One who is my only Way
So let me open up my heart and share what I've got to say
I've got the Hope for the ones in this life that can't cope
And if you want to be found then reach out and unto Him and grope
Because the Father aint turning away any that go to Jesus
The heart of God beats to arrest and seize us

He said, "Mister, can you make folks cry when you play and sing?
Have you paid your dues? Can you moan the blues?
Can you bend them guitar strings?"
He said, "Boy, can you make folks feel what you feel inside?
'Cause if you're big star bound let me warn you it's a long hard ride"

Maynard James Keenan wrote this song about his Christian mother who suffered from a debilitating disease she later died from. In it, Keenan blames and rails on God for the passing of his mom. Join Maynard's mom in praying for her lost son to come to the Light. Amen

Wrote this one whilst going thru a tough time in life:

After 5,000 years in my hell isolation cell,
Will I still recall the years that God's goodness in the land of the living held?
Or in damnation's hold will I forever fix
My gaze upon those whose lives I miss?
Then as I, in my revelry I lie
Sincerely ask those in God's by and by:
"What goes there now? May I get a relief somehow?"
"No, my friend." They say. "You are there and we are here.
And though we love you We cannot pass to you from here.
And yes, it's a sad state of affairs
But God wipes away all our tears.
And will for an infinite number of years."
And then as I remember what nears
I try to count down the time Until it appears - The Lake of Fire - With immeasurable fear!
