How do you cook that many at once tho?
I eat one while I'm cooking another (microwavable desserts).

When you're a bachelor, it's all about the food, you see. None of this mamby-pamby eating in the dining room with the wife and kids, enjoying the company of your love and your progeny, sharing the events of our day, our joys and sorrows, failures and triumphs, feeling a sense of belonging and unity, of invincibility in an arrangement ordained by God.

No, sir. None of that nonsense. It's all about standing in the kitchen eating one dish while nuking another. Yep. Efficiency.

I just saw a trailer for that on TV yesterday. Looks like a good one.

I can relate, for me most times it's fast food in front of the T.V.

Wow! I sure hope you got them at discount
Oh yes! I tend not to spend a lot for anything. (I even wait for sales to get my food.)

I'd say my average is $5-$7 for a DVD. Every once in a while there's one I need to have new but even then I won't spend over $15 for it. (Unless it's a must have set - then I'll spend a little more but I'll look for the cheapest I can get it.)

Just need to find the right places. Sometimes you can even get deals on used DVD's from Blockbuster (who are doing a 3/$20 sale down here on movies $14.99 or less and 4/$20 on $9.99 or less - I picked up A Prairie Home Companion, Click and The Proposition this Thursday in the 3/$20 deal). Another place I go to is called Video Game and Music Exchange. He has Buy 1 get 1 free every Tuesday on used products (or currently all of November). And a web coupon to get 3/$20 for used DVD's $14.99 and under. (Plus he has a $4.99 rack that has some pretty good DVD's in - it's nice to pick them up @ $2.50 each!)

I guess Columbus has some pretty good competition down here to keep the prices decent!

So what was the last really good movie you watched?
I think Monster House was my last A movie (A-). I was really impressed with the capture technology and I enjoyed the story too. (And the behind the scenes stuff was a real treat too!)

I also enjoyed Akeelah and the Bee (A!). The other movie I gave an A to was United 93 (because it's very well done with no flaws and it isn't exploitive though it's a tragic movie).

I think I only saw one movie on the big screen this year (X-Men III).
